❌ Filament not sticking (first layer)
✓ Fix: Level the bed manually (paper method). Z-offset too high. Check bed temp — PLA needs 55-60°C minimum. Clean bed with IPA.
❌ PLA stringing on Ender 3
✓ Fix: Bowden retraction: increase to 5-7mm at 45mm/s. Lower temp to 200-205°C. Enable combing in slicer.
❌ PETG over-adhering to bed
✓ Fix: Apply thin layer of glue stick to PEI. Let print cool fully before removing. Or lower bed temp to 70°C.
❌ TPU jamming in feeder (Bowden models)
✓ Fix: TPU is not recommended for Bowden Ender 3. Upgrade to direct drive (Creality Sprite extruder ~$35) or get a V3 SE.
