    What is ABS?

    ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a sturdy thermoplastic commonly used in manufacturing. It's the same plastic used to make LEGO bricks. ABS offers excellent durability, heat resistance, and impact resistance.

    Safety Warning

    ABS emits potentially harmful fumes when heated. Always print in a well-ventilated area or use an enclosure with filtration.

    Acetone Smoothing

    ABS can be smoothed using acetone vapor for a glossy, injection-molded finish:

    1. Place ABS print in a sealed container
    2. Add small amount of acetone (don't touch the print)
    3. Wait 15-30 minutes for vapor smoothing
    4. Remove and let dry completely
